The stress of being a Jedi has taken its toll on Obi-Wan Kenobi. Every night, to take off the edge, he finds himself on the lower levels of Coruscant, enjoying a few drinks in the Outlander Club. Sometimes, he even knocks back a few during the day. Eventually, the Jedi Council takes notice.
“Obi-Wan,” says Mace Windu, “you’ve been found intoxicated on a regular basis. From now on, every time you go out drinking, I want you to report to the council the very next day.”
“Of course,” nods Obi-Wan.
Kenobi manages to stay sober for a few days, but soon enough, he stumbles into a meeting of the Jedi Council. “I jush wanna report that I wush drinkin’ lash night,” he mumbles.
“Master Kenobi,” exclaims Mace Windu, “you’re drunk right now!”
“I know,” replies Obi-Wan, “but believe me, I wush going to report this tomorrow.”
